Incredible health information with a tap on the app, easy to use, meditation is a bonus and its easy to set up and get moving also to see your progress. It's elegantly packaged, easy to start and use, I highly recommend.
I have a Gen 2 ring and was happy for a while, but lately the sleep measurement is often wrong (says I'm awake when I'm not), the app nags me to exercise less regardless of how good my HRV and RHR are, and an issue that I reported over a year ago is still a problem, so the exercise bar graph is useless for me. From the outside, this seems like a company more focused on getting funding and getting acquired than making a good product.
Monthly charge to use a ring that's already paid for is terrible idea. I was gifted this ring and won't even be able to use it after the trial period is over cause I refuse to pay for nothing. It's not like Oura has any costs associated with letting me see my own data. Tell company owners to go back to business school and remove subscription fee or refund cost of the ring. It's one or the other guys! AND the ring still doesn't monitor SPO2 or work with other fitness apps like Strava.
Oura has a fantastic user interface, which far exceeds my spouse's fitbit IMHO.
I understand my sleep and it's cycles so much better with my Oura. I thought I was getting more and better quality sleep. My Oura helped me focus on improving my sleep. With better tracking I was also able to more clearly see the impact lack of sleep had in my life. The app itself is easy to use and shows the information from the ring in a way that's useful and easy to understand.
Nice. Needs better activity recognition.
Buggy, unreliable, slow, and just generally awful. At least 50% of the time the ring doesn't sync at all. Seems to be getting progressively worse as time goes by. The troubleshooting suggestions did nothing. I regret my purchase
Horrible for the price you pay.
Great app for tracking sleep and conditioning.
I have enjoyed my oura ring + app since gen 1. The interface is clean, fairly easy to hop around and find the info I'm looking for. Now if only I could implement their recommendations and build myself some better sleeping habits!
